Staff

Lynn Godowns – Media Specialist

Mrs. Godowns says that being the media specialist at Peeples Elementary School is such a pleasure. She feels very fortunate to work with committed staff members, amazing students, and dedicated parents. It just doesn’t get much better than that! Mrs. Godowns has been the media specialist here at Peeples since it opened. Before that time she was the media specialist at Tyrone Elementary School and a teacher at J.C. Booth Middle School. Mrs. Godowns has a specialist degree in Media Education from West Georgia College. She and her husband live in Woodbury, Georgia. They have two children and three grandchildren. She enjoys working in the Media Center and sharing her love of books and love of learning with others. Mrs. Godowns is looking forward to a really great year.

Joni Adams – Media Center Paraprofessional

Mrs. Adams was born and raised in Texas and has a BA in Sociology/Social Work from Southwest Texas State University. Her husband Mike works in Atlanta and they have 3 children – Nikki graduated from UGA, married and is now teaching at Berkmar High School in Gwinnett County.  Brandon, a senior and Stefani, a freshman in college. This is Mrs. Adams fifth year in the media center, and she is looking forward to another great year of helping your children.

Carla Regan - Media Center Paraprofesional

Ms. Regan lives in Fayetteville with her husband Tony, her two children Christopher and Amanda, and her two cats. Ms. Regan was a dedicated volunteer in our Media Center. She is now a great addition to our Media Center, working on Wednesday afternoons, Thursdays and Fridays.

Ms. Regan has a Bachelor of Science from the University of Buffalo.  She feels the Media Center is one of the most important classrooms in the school. Ms Regan is very happy to be working with your children and is ready to assist them in any way she can!
